The recipe for the club's success: Less is more. The no-frills dance area, front bar and back patio are pleasant and roomy, and initially seem to look exactly as they did in the space's previous incarnation, Blue. Sinclair, however, has added private dance floors for those who reserve bottle service, a stage, a new sound system and raised viewing platforms so that the shorter peeps in the audience can see the stage. The vibe could change considerably if the place ever really opens—private parties have almost exclusively filled the spot except for Tuesdays and Saturdays, which remain invite-only—but so far the crowd remains refreshingly laid-back.
