Joya is the über-stylish hangout for the Beverly Hills scene: the elegant interior, well-assorted bar and excellent DJs draw a crowd of BH scenesters and other fashionable clubhoppers. The staff at the Joya, though the door can sometimes be hard to get by, is easygoing and friendly and will make you feel right at home once you're inside.
Joya Beverly Hills stretches out over two levels, with a beautiful VIP room on the ground floor and a large lounge-like room on the second level with a good view over the dancefloor and bar downstairs. The atmosphere at Joya is relaxed though the party is wild, and the familiar vibe can be in part ascribed to the fact that Joya has a loyal group of fans who come here often. If you like fondue, Joya is your place: it's the only thing on the menu, but comes in many fascinating varieties - especially the fruit-cheese combinations are a delight. If you want to make life easier for yourself and avoid the lines at the door: a dinner reservation will spare you from having to spend too much time in front of the door of the Joya.
